Proper spacing prevents water from pooling on the surface causing premature rot. Hidden fasteners keep surface penetrations to a minimum, and create a clean look.
Improperly trimmed and finished edges and corners are unsightly. Unfinished decking edges are covered by raising fascia or in most cases by picture framing decking.
Post hole footings are not allowed for decks. Footings are 2'x2'x2 foot deep in lexinton. In cases of higher live loads like commercial decks and hot tubs footings reabar is added.
Precise state of the art laser leveling makes for more even surfaces even over long distances. Bubble leveling and string lines are inaccurate and lead to uneven surfaces.
Properly finished railing post provide aesthetics and structural integrity. Notched railing posts create an unfinished appearance and compromise safety.
